Terms of Service

Welcome to Striker. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Striker platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You will not:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights

You retain ownership of content you post on Striker ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

Content Standards

User Content must not:

  • Contain illegal, harmful, or offensive material
  • Promote violence or discrimination
  • Include sexually explicit content
  • Violate any third party's rights
  • Contain spam or unauthorized advertising

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason.

5. Shooting Sports Activities

Striker is a platform for the shooting sports community. By using our Service for shooting-related activities, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable firearms laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • You will follow all safety rules and guidelines at ranges and during events
  • Event participation is at your own risk, and you should verify event details with organizers
  • Striker does not verify credentials, licenses, or certifications of users

6. Clubs and Events

Club Administrators

If you create or manage a club, you are responsible for the club's activities on the platform and compliance with applicable laws. You must have proper authorization to represent the club.

Event Organizers

Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event information, proper management of registrations, and compliance with all applicable regulations for their events.

Participants

Participation in clubs and events is subject to the rules set by administrators and organizers. Striker is not responsible for disputes between users, clubs, or event organizers.

7. Payments and Fees

Some features of the Service may require payment. All fees are stated at the time of purchase and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. Event registration fees are processed on behalf of event organizers, and refund policies are set by the respective organizers.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content) are owned by Striker and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

WE DO NOT VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT, INCLUDING COMPETITION RESULTS, SCORES, OR CLUB INFORMATION.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRIKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

STRIKER IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES, DAMAGES, OR LOSSES ARISING FROM SHOOTING SPORTS ACTIVITIES, EVENTS, OR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Striker and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Finland.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
