Striker in Claude and ChatGPT
Connect your Striker account to an AI assistant and ask it about your training, matches and clubs. It can also log training and sign you up for matches, and it asks you before every change.
What you can ask
- “Log a training session at NOSA outdoor range for today.”
- “When do I shoot at Saturday's club match, and how many rounds do I need?”
- “How did I do at my last match? Which stage cost me the most?”
- “How much have I shot this month, and is any gun due a service?”
- “Find IPSC handgun matches in Tampere next month and enter me in the free one.”
- For organizers: Copy last Tuesday's practice night to next Tuesday and add a stage: 7 paper, 5 steel.
Connect Claude
In Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app or the mobile app), open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector and enter this address:
https://api.striker.one/mcpClaude opens Striker in your browser. Sign in, choose what Claude may do, and select Allow.
In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http striker https://api.striker.one/mcpThe Striker plugin adds the connector together with skills for logging training, getting ready for a match, going through results and running practice nights:
claude plugin marketplace add Striker-app/claude-plugin
claude plugin install striker@strikerConnect ChatGPT
In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins, choose + and then Add custom MCP server. Name it Striker, enter the address above as the server URL, choose OAuth for authentication, and create it. ChatGPT opens Striker in your browser to sign in.
Which ChatGPT plans can add their own connectors, and whether those can make changes or only read, is up to OpenAI and depends on your plan.
What it may do
When you connect, you choose:
- See your Striker: your profile, guns and round counts, training log, matches, registrations, results and clubs. Always included.
- Log and sign up for you: log training sessions and gun maintenance, enter you in free matches and choose your squad.
- Help run your events and clubs: offered only if you organize events or run a club: draft and copy events, add stages, squad shooters, decide entries and club applications, publish events and post announcements.
The assistant asks you before every change it makes.
What it never does
- Pay, refund or change anything that involves money. A match with an entry fee is entered and paid on striker.one, and the assistant gives you the link.
- Cancel or complete an event, or change prices or payment status.
- See your password, payment details, Sportti-ID or other federation numbers, gun serial numbers, or other people's contact details.
Your data
What the assistant reads from Striker goes to the company that provides it (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT), under your own agreement with them. Striker does not see your conversations. Striker keeps a log of what the assistant looked up or changed, without the answers, for 90 days. Read more in our privacy policy.
Disconnecting
Settings → Connected apps on striker.one lists your connected assistants and what they have done recently. Disconnect stops an assistant at once. Changing your password or signing out of all devices also ends every connection.
